UMass Memorial Health – Harrington Hospital's Southbridge Campus will undergo new paving in parking lots over the coming weeks.
Starting Date: August 14
Expected Duration: Four to five weeks (weather permitting)
To minimize disruption to traffic flow and maintain access to hospital services, the project will be completed in multiple phases.
We encourage visitors to check this page regularly for updates on project progress and any temporary changes to parking or access routes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements to our Southbridge facility.
Current Phase of Construction
Phase 4: Begins Friday, October 3 (Weather Permitting)
Phase four of the campus repaving project will take place on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, as well as next Friday, October 9. This phase of the project involves grinding and packing the lower Medical Arts/North Side parking lot and driveway from the Medical Arts Ground Entrance, past the new oxygen tank and out to Sayles Street.
This weekend the contractors will grind and pack these areas. They will be passable by traffic Monday through Thursday next week. On Friday, October 9th, paving will begin and caregivers and patients will be required to use alternate parking lots. The paving portion of the project should begin and end on Friday, October 9.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping ensure that all patients and visitors continue to have access to our services and adequate parking.
